When we left Canada to start travelling full time, the whole journey began with a housesitting job in Costa Rica. We were situated right on a 12km section of clean and quiet beach, I beleive the last undeveloped beach in the country. There we took care of one dog, but it didn’t take long before 3 dogs from down the beach would come on our morning and evening walks with us. Before we knew it, the owner of the other 3 would come looking to see where they were, because they were always suddenly hanging out at our house a couple doors down.

When it came time for the other man to have to leave the beach for a trip, we were then available to manage his house, his three dogs, and his cabina rental.

Thus began a journey of housesitting that would take us to Nicaragua, Guatemala, the Caribbean and back to Canada. We have had a great run with housesitting and have had nothing but great experiences. Here are a few reference letters that we have received for our services.
