I (Jill) have been travelling my whole life.  My first flight was when I was just 10 months old when I went to England to visit my paternal grandparents for the first time.

When I was only 4 years old, my mom put me on my first ever flight alone, sending me off to visit my maternal grandmother, in a city a 1/2 hour flight away.

At 16 my girlfriend and I flew by ourselves to England, to visit my grandparents for our two week spring break holiday.

At 17 I set off on an around the world sailing trip that would take me to 30 different countries.

These experiences are just the beginning of what has been a lifetime of curiosity and exploration of our world.

My travels have been varied.  Sometimes I have stayed in countries for 6 months, sometimes only for hours on a layover.  But always, I’m not satisfied until I have seen new things, eaten new food, and just experienced something different!

Highlighted names below are clickable links that will take you to writings about that specific region.  The writings may be from Blog Posts that I wrote about the area, they may be informational, or just a story of our experience, or they may be excerpts from travel journals that I kept as a kid.  I feel like my writing is like a big travelling tapestry, woven together with curiosity, an itch to see and experience new things, and an insatiable wanderlust.  (Please note that this section is work in progress as I take the time to update the links.  Check back often to see if new pages have been posted!:)) 

Chris only started travelling internationally once we were together (note the C next to the countries and territories that he has been to), however at the young age of 20, he set out from his small town of Saskatchewan, having a deep knowing that there was more out there in the world for him to see and discover.  Over the next 16 years, he slowly moved and travelled his way across Western Canada before reaching the coast, which is where we met in 2013.
